Here Is What WE Say About It Equipment Image

The first Max Tool that I saw was one that must have fallen off of or out of a Humvee and ended up along the side of the road. I looked over all the parts and and thought how ingenious. It certainly put to shame the old "Pioneer" pack that they mounted to military vehicles in the past that had a shovel and an ax. Looking back at the full sized ax and shovel mounted to my spare tire carrier, I decided that this device was meant to stay in my Jeep. Unfortunately a few years later, someone decided that they needed it more than me when they cut my soft top to help themselves with some of my gear.

Now a few years later, I decided to get the civilian version, which by the way seems to be exactly the same as the military version only in bright colors and not the military olive drab.

Seven tools in one is a good thing and they are all in a small package. I've had the opportunity to use several of the tools and I can tell you that this is a quality made tool that will stand up to hard use. There is no doubt when swinging the ax that it is all business. It's a little pricey retailing about $250 but given the fact that if you keep this in your Jeep for 10 years that is a cost of about $25 a year and a good value when you look at it that way.

So if are one not to compromise and the price is within your means, this is a piece of gear you should not leave home without!

Make sure you watch the video. It's very interesting and informative.
