Equipment Reviews: River Raider Hi-Lift Jack Mount for TJ and JK Wrangler

Here Is What THEY Say About It

Equipment Image

The River Raider JK 48" High Lift Jack

Mount system utilizes the back side of the factory roll cage seatbelt mounts. The brackets come black powder coat. The kit is easily installed and does not impede the removal of a hard top or the lowering/raising of your soft top. All heavy duty 1/2" stainless steel hardware, 1/2" thread tap, and installation instructions come included with the kit.

Works with your 2 or 4 door JK!

Here Is What WE Say About It

What is the best place to mount a Hi-Lift Jack ? Probably anywhere where you can keep it clean and safe from theft. So where do you mount yours ?

I have mounted mine on the front bumper, front brush guard, rear bumper and on my swing out tire carrier. From experience, bumper mountings where they are down low subject them to all kinds of mud and grime and eventually corrosion a/k/a rust. They even become a theft magnet as the usual small lock that fits thru the drilled holes in the threads of the typical mounts can easily be snapped by a heavy screwdriver. Mounting one on your tire carrier gets it up higher but its still venerable to theft and the elements. The truth is a clean and rust free Hi-Lift operates an awful lot smoother and reliably than one that is not.

Being originally from Central PA I am no stranger to mud, water, rain and rust. A few trips down the shore of Asseteague Island and a few big splashes of salt water doesn't do a jack good either. After moving to AZ several years ago someone asked me one time how my HiLift got do rusty. Well truth of the matter is a high lift will eventually get grimed up with dust and sand and will even see some rust after a few years here in the desert.

The River Raider Hi-Lift Jack mount takes care of all of those potential problems. This clever system mounts on the rear of your factory sport bar of your TJ or JK securely and easily. Once mounted, your Hi-Lift Jack is pretty much out of sight from potential thieves and kept clean and dry mounted inside your Jeep. It works with both soft and hard tops and does not interfere when you fold your soft top back or remove your hard top.

Installation is as simple as tapping (tap is included) two factory holes at the lower rear of your roll bar and installing the custom HD brackets on each side using the supplied stainless steel hardware. The instructions are easy to follow and installation takes about 45 minutes.

This is a quality kit made by fellow Jeepers here in the USA.
