PAST - PRESENT - FUTURE EXPEDITIONS

EXPLORATION, EDUCATION, PRESERVATION, NATURE, HISTORY & MORE

This is what Jeep Expeditions is all about. We take anywhere from 18 to 25 trips a year from "Day Trips" to "Road Trips to what we call "Expeditions".

Our trips are family friendly and most if not all are STOCK Jeep friendly!

EXPEDITIONS

Each year we will take 8 to 10 "Expeditions". To us an Expedition is a Jeep trip that normally will be a minimum of 3 or 4 days. At least half of our Expeditions are a week long. One or two might be two weeks in length. Our Alaska Expedition in 2011 was a 30 day 11,800 mile trip!

ROAD TRIPS

In any given year we will take 4 to 8 Road Trips. We know that many of our members don't have unlimited vacation but still want the "Expedition Experience". A road trip typically is a simple weekend trip with one night of camping. Its perfect for those of us who have lots of weekend time and those who want to bring the kids and family dog.

DAY TRIPS

A Day Trip is just what it says. Leave home in the morning, return that night. We do a number of awesome day trips each year. Day Trips are only posted on our Members Only Forum, not here on our website. It's a great get away from the "city" for the day.

SO WHERE HAVE WE BEEN SINCE 2006 ?

The Devils Highway,  Canyon De Chelly,  Monument Valley,  Grand Canyon North Rim,  Death Valley,  The Sea of Cortez (Mexico from the mouth of the Colorado River along the shore line to Puerta Penasco),  The Rubicon, Mohave Desert,   Alaska from Prudhoe Bay to Anchorage,   Western Canada from Inuvek to Vancouver,  The Great Western Trail,   The Arizona Trail,   The Magruder Trail,  The trails of Geronimo,  Trails of Cochise,  Moab,  Canyonlands,  Moqui Stagecoach Trail,  The White Rim Trail,  AZ North Country,   Colorado Rockies,  The Heart of the West Trail, EVERY Back Country Discovery Route, The Continental Divide Trail, The Trans America Trail and so much more. The Baja from top to bottom,  Cabo San Lucas,  Puerta Vallarta,  Rocky Point,  The Great Pinacate Dunes (Mexico),  The Rubicon Trail,   and MANY more.   We've been on trails in Arizona,   New Mexico,   Texas,   Colorado,   Wyoming,  Montana,  Utah,   Nevada,  Idaho,  Washington,  Oregon,   Alaska  & California! If that isn't enough we've been to British Columbia,   Alberta,   The Yukon,  & The Northwest Territories in Canada. Add to that Northern Mexico and the Baja  plus we had a group of members do a 30 day Expediton to Austrailia and New Zealand and we've had several members join a Club Member from the Netherlands spend time Jeeping trails in Europe! But alas, although we look like we travel the world, most of our trips are in the American Southwest!

Several Expeditions have been so popular we've done them twice, three times or more. Many of these we will do again in the future.

WHERE ARE WE GOING NEXT ?

Once we start planning a trip and have picked definite dates (most trips are planned at least a year or more in advance) we will place that trip on our calendar which is linked on our home page. Some of the trips that are in planning stages or being considered are: The Great Western Trail (AZ portion), more Backcountry Discovery Routes, The Rubicon, White Mountain and San Carlos Reservations, The AZ Badlands, AZ North Country, Death Valley. Continental Divide Trail, Copper Canyon Mexico, The Baja 1000, International Continental Divide (Mexico, USA, Canada), The Great Eastern Adventure Route, TransAmerica Trail, TransCanada Trial , Heart of the West Trail II, AZ Peace Trail and more trips in California, Arizona, Nevada , Utah, Texas, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana and others plus and other trips both north and south of the border.

How about running the Baja 1000 just before or after the actual race. the race? Ever traced the path of the original Route 66 from start to end or Coast to Coast or Border to Border using off road, backcountry trails ?

And for the more adventurous, we're considering a trip from here to the Panama Canal and back along the Pan American Highway and visiting as many Mayan and Aztec ruins and cities along the way!

The skys the limit and the only thing keeping us from anywhere is imagination, suggestions, planning and members to join in.

WHAT'S PLANNED FOR NOW AND WHERE HAVE WE ACTUALLY BEEN AND WERE ARE WE PLANNING ON GOING

We have a number of Expeditions and trips already planned or are being planned for 2020, 2021, 2022, 2024 and 2029. More will be added as they get planned. Our day trips and 1 to 2 night road trips won't show up here but are posted on our Members Only Forum
