Chicken Breast w/ Dressing & Chicken Gravy
 

A quick and easy version of this family favorite.

Let me first say for the record. I love chicken, dressing, mashed and gravy about as much as I like turkey. We are missing the mashed but considering the mashed potatoes in other Hormel Meals, it's probably a good thing here.

There is a thick piece of tender chicken breast that was as big as the container. The gravy, as has been the gravy in most Hormel Meals that I have tasted so far, was thick and savory. The stuffing reminded me of that "famous brand" of stuffing you do on the stove. You could taste the subtle flavor of herbs and spices in the stuffing which was more of a "wet" stuffing. Carol mentioned that it had a "processed" taste to it and didn't like. Come to think of it I noticed that too, something that neither of us noticed with the Turkey & Stuffing Hormel Meal.

This Hormel Meal might be on my future menus but not as a favorite only due to the "processed taste" I mentioned.

I used buttered bread to clean my “bowl” completely.   You'll see in other reviews that I do this often because good gravy is a terrible thing to waste.


           Looks good when cover comes off !                  Stir it up & it looks pretty good too !
