SPAM w/ Scrambled Eggs and Potatoes
 

SPAM for Breakfast ? It's something different for me so let's try it.

So how soes this stack up to the other Hormel Breakfasts I've tried so far?

You've read my reviews on other Hormel Meals that used Scrambled Eggs. The eggs in this one were not much different. They looked good once stirred up, they weren't dry but I really can't describe them. They were "crumbly" but again not dry. They just don't hold together and while they are soft, get kind of "grainey" in your mouth.

Now I have to admit, once I got past the eggs (and honestly they weren't terrible)this entree had a decent taste to it. I didn't notice the SPAM, if you would not have seen the packaging, you would have thought it was ham ih this meal. The potatoes were solid, not too soft, not too hard and like most Hormel Meals with cooked potatoes they were good too. The one thing I would like to see would be a a few more potatoes.

Now is the time for judgement. Would I buy these again? Maybe. While it might not be a favorite when it comes to my Hormel Breakfast choice, I did like the taste and most likely with a few days out in the woods I might become used to the eggs. So let's say it is a decent possiblity that this could show up at one of my future camp breakfasts.


      Its OK looking when cover comes off .                 Fluff it up, looks much better .
