Planned Trip : Carnival Cruise with Jeeping in the Sierra Madre in Mexico

THIS TRIP IS OPEN TO MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS-JOIN US FOR LOTS OF FUN!

This is what your wife has been waiting for.    A romantic 7 day cruise on Carnival Cruise Lines newest ship,  the Carnival Splendor http://www.carnival.com/cms/fun/ships/carnival_splendor/default.aspx?shipCode=SL.

I have done this itinerary twice now and really love it.    There is plenty of sight seeing and shopping at all 3 ports.

In Cabo we can possibly book a Jeep Tour of the Baja and/or a private yacht to go out whale watching (this is very cool and only about $45 per person) with plenty of time to shop afterwards.

In Puerta Vallarta we will book a Jeep tour of the Sierra Madre.   I did this in January and am ready to do it again.    The tour company provides Jeeps and we take turns driving them.  Stops at a tequila factory for free samples too !   The tour will be optional and the cost is expected to be $60 to $80 per person.    People not wanting to do the Jeep tour there is lots to do and see in PV and it has great beaches and shopping.

In Mazatlan I would suggest a tour of the city by "kit car" VWs.    Very cool, lasts a few hours and costs about $20 per person.   Each vehicle will hold 2 to 3 people.   There is tons of shopping and lots of history here.    The ship docks within a stones throw of the Corona brewery  Grin

If you have never been on a cruise before now is the time to go with friends that you know and a cruise line known for fun!
