Do you really need a gun sleeve for you cot. Well not everyone takes a long gun with them camping but if you do, then the answer is an easy, yes. It doesn't matter if its a lever action 30-30, a tacti-cool AR-15, a 12 ga. pump gun or that .300 Win Mag. If you have a long gun and a cot then get your weapon off the cold ground and where it is close and with in reach. The wilderness if full of dangers including bears, wolves, cougars and other animals, the gun sleeve can help to turn the odds into your favor if one comes "knocking" at your door.

What more can I say other than what "they" say. If you have a cot and a long gun, you NEED one of these!

I got mine at my local Sportsman's Warehouse. If you buy the Teton Sports XXL Cot or another cot, the Teton Sports Cot Gun Sleeve should be part of your gear. This gun sleeve will only set you back about $18 or online at:

Jeep Expedition Members enjoy adventures that vary in length from one day, a weekend, long weekend, week long, two weeks and like our Arctic Expedition in 2011, a full month. Don't worry, most of our trips are one day and two day trips. We are Family Friendly and we have a number of members who bring their friendly "Jeep Dogs".
