  STORAGE BAG FOR BUTATE HEATER

This is what WE say about it:
Coleman 30 Can Soft Cooler w/ Liner (Heater Storage Bag):
                          Model #3000001310    Walmart #: 551865142

One thing I am pretty much stuck on is that if you have nice equipment, you should take care of it to make it last. Whenever I get a new product like a lantern, stove, heater and such I make sure I can get some type of carry case for it. Unfortunatly, the manufacturer of the Butane heater to the right doesn't offer such a think like the "Buddy" heaters do.

Then it hit me, a softside cooler with a hard liner would be the perfect bag to protect my heater. So off to a few sporting goods stores with the measurements in hand. After several hours and miles on my feet I just hadn't found anything that suited me. It was like a chapter from the "Three Bears" this one is too little, this one is too big and this one......well let's just say wasn't right. Back home I am online now looking for a cooler of the right size. I know from experience that Walmart.com has tens of thousands of items that are not available in the store. I save a couple of coolers that are close to my "favorits list" to go back to later. After about 45 min it was time to narrow dowm my choices. This is the one, but if its not, I can still order online and take it back to the store for a refund.
  • I like the color, green is outdoorsy
  • The measurements stated online were nearly perfect
  • It had an inside mesh pocket for the heaters user guide
  • It had a nice sized zipper pocket in the front I could store adapters to use with external gas bottles
Three days later my Coleman Cooler arrives at the local store. After picking it up and doing the trial fit, it would not go the whole way down into the had plastic liner. Dang, it's slightly tapered. It does however fit into the bag without the insert just fine. Problem is though the bag won't hold its shape and while the heater won't get scratched, it could still get damaged. What if I put the liner back in and put the heater upside down? That works just fine. It also works fine if you put the heater in without the liner then put the liner upside down over the heater. What ever the case, it works for me.

Problem solved heater has a protective "home" in the Jeep or in my garage on a shelf.

P.S. If you don't like the green you can get it in red to match the heater :-)
