Here Is What WE Say About It

Since my camping days in the Scouts long ago to my camping days now it is safe to say that I have used dozens of stoves for cooking. From my first Coleman stove that used "white" gas and you had to pressurize it to some expensive propane models and finally a few butane models.

I consider the Gas One and other similar stoves to be more or less the "Generic" butane stove. They all have the same features, similar heat outputs, look pretty much the same with the main differences of what color they are offered in and the brand name decals that the come with.

Don't get me wrong, these stoves will do the job. Priced in the range of $25 to $35 and sometimes more, there are better stoves to be had for the same or a bit more money.

I will admit that I did use one of these for about 3 years. Some of the finish chipped off and there is some surface rust but they still work fine. The plastic cases are cheap and lasted less than a year.

My personal opinion if you want a butane stove for camping is to buy either of the Iwatani models starting at under $40 on Amazon.
