One of the most important pieces of equipment on an extended overland trip is my 12v refrigerator/freezer. Once you buy your new fridge, where do you put it, how to do you get to it? You mount it on a fridge slide of course, but which one? There are a number of companies out there offering a variety of products with a wide price range. I've seen plenty in my off-road travels and shows and I can say without a doubt that Tembo Tusk makes the best built and strongest of any fridge slide I've seen. I recently acquired a new Edgestar 43qt model. When deciding to purchase a 12v fridge you should consider a number of factors. If you build a shelf system to tuck your fridge into, you need a slide to easily access your fridge.
