BUBBA ROPE

Here Is What THEY Say About It Equipment Image

The ONLY rope you should have for recovery and in a convenient carry bag too!

Bubba RopeŽ is a tougher, safer recovery rope, developed from military specs for pulling off-road vehicles out of mud, sand or snow. It is the only snatch rope with a polymer coating.

A kinetic energy recovery rope (KERR), Bubba RopeŽ provides superior performance, strength and durability that goes way beyond typical recovery ropes, snatch straps and chains. It stretches and actively uses its own kinetic energy to help get your stuck vehicle moving.

Bubba RopeŽ is actually three ropes in one: An inner nylon core, braided looser to absorb more of the lower loads, an outer nylon jacket braided tighter for higher loads and then the whole rope is dipped in a polymetric base giving it a protective shell.

If you drive where there is mud, sand or snow then you need a Bubba RopeŽ. Click the button below to order your Bubba Rope today!
  • 100% double braided nylon rope
  • Urethane Polymer coating
  • Commercially spliced and seized at both ends
  • Water, UV and abrasive resistant
  • Highest breaking strengths available

Here Is What WE Say About It Equipment Image

Faster than a winch, stronger than an elephant, quality made and like no other! These are a few of the things that come to mind when I hear "Bubba Rope".

I got my Bubba Rope in 2011 for several reasons. A few people told me that these were awesome, I've read lots of claims about them and a bit out of curiosity.

Why did I need a Bubba Rope? After all I have a 12,000lb winch on the front of my Jeep and I already had a cheap flat snatch strap. Simple, there are so many times where a winching procedure takes way too much time and a tow line is much quicker and efficient. Like I said earlier, my "cIheap" flat snatch strap was just that, cheap and 20 feet long. After a few years it was looking sad and getting stiff so I wasn't sure if I trusted it anymore. I wanted something this time that was super strong, super tough and would outlast my Jeep. The Bubba Rope seemed to fit the bill.

Here we are nearly four years later and I've had the opportunity to use my Bubba Rope a few times now. Does it live up to it's hype? You better believe it does! I am 100% satisfied and 100% confident in its safety and ability to do the job. The 3/4" Bubba that is 30 feet long will run you around $200 but it is well worth it.

But I can buy 30 feet of chain for a lot less. Yes you can and when you use chain as a recovery item, you are taking your life and the life of others in your hand. Chains break and all too often. The energy release by a chain under a ton of stress or more makes it as deadly as a cannon ball. I've had one break back in the 70's when chains were the "cool" thing to have. It nearly missed a buddy of mine and ended up going through a grill and radiator before the engine stopped it. I've heard stories about chains and winch cables snapping and ending up going thru a windshield, nearly missing the driver. Cheap flat straps with metal hooks on the end are just as dangerous if the hook breaks or slips. Typical flat straps aren't up to the type of stress and pressure the Bubba Rope can handle and most of them are 20ft or shorter. Flat straps that can equal the capability of a Bubba Rope can cost twice as much or more as a Bubba Rope.

The Bubba Rope is manufactured to military-spec quality and strength, outstanding kinetic properties and polymer coating insures your Bubba Rope will last for many years. Bottom line is if you are as safety concerned as I am and are willing to buy the best gear you can get for your budget, then the Bubba Rope should be your first and only choice in a recovery rope. For about the price of 3 tanks of gas, you can own piece of mind! Just remember the golden rule of off-roading "Lessons are Learned the Hard Way". Be a leader, not a statistic! Make sure you watch the video. It's very interesting and informative.
