MOBIL-MEDIC EMERGENCY O2 KIT

Here Is What WE Say About It:

Equipment Image

For years I have stressed the importance of being prepared for emergencies on the trail. Not too long ago, we were all again reminded of the importance of this with the tragic accident in the Mohave Desert at the Desert Truck Race. The news reported it took over 30 minutes for help to arrive. Again I ask, “Will You Be Prepared”?

Ask ANY professional 1st Responder. They will tell you that no AED program is complete without an available oxygen supply.

If you are a club or trip leader and will be leading a group of people and have available an AED unit then an Emergency Oxygen Kit should be something on your "bucket" list for emergency gear.

Mobil Medic sells such a kit. Using a black tactical backpack for transport displaying the MobilMedic Logo, this kit contains a "D" sized aluminum oxygen cylinder to supply you with emergency oxygen for about two hours. There is an adjustable oxygen flow regulator, a disposable adult bag mask resuscitator, a standard oxygen mask, cannula, clear hose and a CPR mask. The backpack has plenty of extra room for first aid supplies.

One look at this kit and there will be no doubt in your mind that this is professional gear. The best part of it, the price is extremely competitive.

Mobile Medic offers a variety of kits for the individual with basic training up to the professional paramedic and ambulance corps/rescue squad. They give a big bang for the buck and because of their competitive pricing, you can buy a bigger kit for less than the competitors smaller kits. They donate part of their proceeds to the Wounded Warrior Project and the Semper Fi Fund for wounded Marines and in my search for quality Trauma Kits at affordable prices, I found no other company doing the same.
Update on Mobil-Medic. Recentltly, after several years of serving First Responders, Mobil-Medic closed their doors. Unfortunately their products are no longer available.

Looks like we will be looking for a new source for Trauma Kits for our Members.

We'll wait until then, post some reviews and remove the Mobil-Medic products from our website.
