The Bluetooth® feature allows drivers a better way to have phone conversations on the road because calls to your mobile phone are synched with the CB radio. A noise canceling microphone allows calls to be heard loud and clear, even over a noisy engine. Incoming audio is routed through the radio's speaker making it easy for the driver to hear the caller. The system provides one-touch protocol for compliance and gives the driver's the ability to stay focused on the road by answering, placing and terminating calls with one-touch operation. Cobra has been making this model 29 for 50 years! Because why stop when you have something right? It is the #1 radio used by truckers! Why? Because it is full of features and gets the job done! This model 29 not only has the features of the classic Cobra but also has Nightwatch, Sound Tracker, NOAA Weather Radio and Blue Tooth!

There isn't another CB radio anywhere other than the new Cobra 29LX Blue Tooth that has all the features that this radio has, NONE! It has all the features found on the original Cobra 29 like the built in SWR meter. You can check your antenna SWRs anytime without any other equipment with this feature. The DynaMic feature can adjust your Mic Gain to increase or decrease the "punch" of your sound transmission to make your radio sound perfect on the other end. The RF Gain and Delta Tune are used to adjust the incoming signal for the best reception possible. All of these features are absent from most other CB radios, especially the cheap small ones.

As CBs go, this one shares features with many other CBs such as Volume and Squelch controls, CB/PA switch, instant channel 9 switch (a worthless feature in my opinion as I don't know of too many people that monitor channel 9 and the CB really doesn't have the range to reach the typical 911 center), channel indicator, power meter and microphone.

But this Cobra goes far above the rest and in addition to Blue Tooth that allows you to use your Blue Tooth cell phone to make and receive calls safely thru this Cobra. In addtion it has Night Watch which lights up your radio and controls in a pleasing blue color for ease of use after dark. The Sound Tracker feature is used to maintain quality reception. And last but not least the NOAA Weather Radio with weather alert will keep you up to date on short and long term weather forecast and instant weather alerts.

The Cobra 29LTD BT is an excellent choice for a CB in the $180 price range. It has all the basic features plus all the best high end ones. The 29 is quality built from a name syonymous with CB radios and electronics. This radio has passed the test of time. If you have a few dollars more to spend and demand the best Cobra 29 LTD with Nightwatch, Sound Tracker and NOAA Weather is the one to buy and the radio I currently use in my Wrangler with an external speaker mounted to the roll bar behind my head. A quality speaker is perfect in a noisey Jeep!
