The MXTA11 is Midlands flagship antanna. I've compared it to their magnetic mount that comes with the MXT115 and MXT275 radios and the difference is night and day. The differnce is also clearly different when compared to their shorter MXTA9 and MXTA9 antennas with much greater talk range than other antennas tested. The stainless steel construction shows the attention to quality by Midland and the standard NMO base makes a solid connection to your matching NMO mount.

I've said for years that the antenna is the most immportant part of any radio system and the MXTA11 is a top quality antenna. With proper mounting this antannas height will get it well above the roof of your Jeep for the best possible transmission and reception to and from other radios. The 6db gain coupled with this antenna matched for GMRS makes it the only antenna of it's kind that I could find on the market. It is plub and play right out of the box, no having to tune the antenna, just connect it and start talking.

There are cheaper antennas on the market, there are antennas that cost twice as much but none of them will give you the performance and value of the Midland MXTA11.
