Equipment Image I think that the following statement probably sums it all up well: "This is probably the best bargain you will find for your Camp Kitchen!". Seriously, for about $5 you are not going to find a quality kitchen knife and fork for your camp gear anywhere.

Coming from Coleman, a name you come to associate with quality camping gear this stailess steel set consisting of a kitchen fork and knife will last longer than your current Jeep....and probably the next one and the next one after that too. Stainless steel is just that, stainless and it won't corrode or rust like regular steel. The blade of this knife was surprisingly sharp right out of the package so be careful when getting it out of your gear box or where ever you store your camp cooking utensils at. The fork is sturdy and works great turning that big old steak over on grill or snatching it up to put on your plate.

Bottom line, these utensils are well made and will last years if taken care of. They are easy to clean, will not rust or corrode, won't breeak under normal use and will continue to look good over time. The knife as my dad would have said is "sharp as a bears claw". I actually have two sets of these in my camping gear because if I decide to make a couple of steaks for dinner, these will cut them like butter and why share a knife when you can buy two sets for under $10? Where to buy? You can buy a set of these like I did at the local Walmart for $4.97. You can also find at Amazon and Ebay for under $5 (but be careful on Ebay because the same set I've seen listed for $30).

Jeep Expedition Members enjoy adventures that vary in length from one day, a weekend, long weekend, week long, two weeks and like our Arctic Expedition in 2011, a full month. Don't worry, most of our trips are one day and two day trips. We are Family Friendly and we have a number of members who bring their friendly "Jeep Dogs".
